Gurinder is Union's Head of Technology, making sure everything behind the scenes runs as smoothly as the work on screen. From managing the studio's infrastructure and navigating complex security requirements to creating secure, sandboxed environments for productions, he helps ensure every project has the technology it needs to succeed. More recently, he's been instrumental in Union's evaluation of emerging AI tools, exploring the solutions that best fit the studio's pipeline while meeting the security standards expected by clients.

After studying Computer Science at the University of Hertfordshire, Gurinder began his career as a Junior Systems Engineer at MPC. Over the years he progressed through a number of technical leadership roles, eventually becoming Head of Technology at Technicolor Creative Services. Along the way, he helped establish and build the technology infrastructure across Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York and Bangalore, led the migration of Technicolor's UK data centres, and established on-set studio technology for major productions including The Jungle Book and The Lion King.

Outside Union, Gurinder also enjoys making a difference, he can often be found at the local food kitchen he established to donate meals to people in need.
